My entire professional career has been centered around planning and coordinating special events for anywhere from 30 people to over 4,000. I started Jillian Jensen Events in 2014 and have coordinated close to 150 weddings and countless other special events since then. Prior to becoming a small business owner, I was the Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Colorado Boulder where I spearheaded countless recruitment events for the university.

Weddings hold a special place in my heart because I love helping my clients, who are almost always first-time event planners themselves, navigate the process of planning an event. In addition to weddings, I still contract with the University of Colorado Boulder in the Leeds School of Business where I plan recruitment events for prospective students.

In the whirlwind of 2020, when the events industry faced unprecedented challenges, I pivoted and founded Jillian Jensen Creative. This venture, now a vibrant aspect of my business, allows me to channel my love for hands-on creativity. From unique minimalist art pieces to personalized wedding decor and specialty gifts, I pour my soul into every creation. This is a fun addition that I can offer to any of my wedding clients!

Originally hailing from Connecticut, I've found my heart in Colorado for over a decade. I currently live in Erie, Colorado with my husband, two kids, and our pup Otto. You can always get a conversation started with me by talking about your dinking strategy in pickleball, the beauty of a Schiopettino wine (I recently passed the WSET level 2 exam and plan to do more!), or the best TV show you just watched on Netflix.
